BEFORE THE CURTAIN — Pre-theatre dining *opposite the Mayflower.* at Max's Brasserie, Southampton.
Ch. XBEFORE THE CURTAIN

Pre-theatre dining*opposite the Mayflower.*

A relaxed two-course supper before the show. Italian hands in the kitchen, an Italian cellar on the wall, and the theatre a thirty-second walk across the road.

We sit directly opposite the Mayflower Theatre, so pre-theatre dining is what we do most nights of the week. Our kitchen is built around handmade pasta and Italian classics that can be cooked, plated and enjoyed unhurried before curtain-up. Last seating for pre-theatre is timed so you can finish a course, settle the bill, and walk across the road with minutes to spare.

Questions, answered.

01What time should I book for a pre-theatre dinner?

Most theatre shows at the Mayflower start at 7:30pm. We recommend arriving between 5:30pm and 6:00pm to enjoy two courses unhurried. Let us know your show time when you book.

02Where can I park near the restaurant?

The West Quay and Mayflower car parks are both within a few minutes' walk. On-street parking on Commercial Road is metered until 6pm.

03Can you cater for allergies and dietary requirements?

Yes. Please tell us when you book or on arrival — our kitchen handles gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan adaptations across most of the menu.
