Privacy
Max's Brasserie collects only what we need to take a booking, send you a reply and keep our service safe. We don't sell your data. This page explains the details, in plain English.
Who we are
Max's Brasserie operates a restaurant at 9 Commercial Road, Southampton SO15 1GF, United Kingdom. For data protection enquiries, contact info@maxsbrasserie.co.uk.
What we collect, and why
When you make a reservation through Dojo (our booking partner), Dojo handles your name, email, phone and booking details directly. See dojo.tech for their privacy notice.
When you send us a message through the contact form or private dining enquiry, we receive your name, email, optional phone, and the message itself. We use it to reply and to deliver the service you've asked for.
Our website is hosted on a privacy-respectful infrastructure. We use minimal first-party analytics to understand which pages are read; no cookies are set without your consent.
How long we keep it
Email enquiries are kept for as long as we need to handle your request, plus a reasonable period for follow-up — typically up to 24 months. After that, messages are deleted.
Reservation data is held by Dojo under their retention policy; we only see what's needed for the evening you booked.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. To exercise any of these rights, email info@maxsbrasserie.co.uk and we'll respond within one month.
If you're not satisfied with how we've handled your request, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
