Max’s Bar & Brasserie has for several years been one of the most popular restaurants in Southampton. Located in the Heart of Southampton, 9 Commercial Road Opposite the Popular Mayflower Theatre ( Just in Front of the Theatre) Max’s Brasserie serves traditional Sicilian & Italian food in a warm homely setting with an emphasis on personal and friendly service. Founded by Max Romano in 2014, Max’s offers not only fresh seasonal food, but a wide range of expertly crafted and delicately balanced cocktails. It is proud to be the home of the original Max’s Balsamic Gin & Tonic!
The kitchen team is headed up by Chef Gennaro Pascarella from Napoli, who creates traditional Italian food in a rustic environment. Chef Gennaro and Max were the recipients of the “Best Restaurant in Southampton” award for Max’s Bar & Brasserie, awarded by the British Restaurant Awards 2018 & 2019.
